In the evening, a first, light training session in the hall was on the agenda and I must say, it feels very good. Annabelle (breeder and owner: Günther Fielmann) has already become a real tournament pro: she acclimatises quickly and is then also super focused. Accordingly, I am looking forward to our performance on Friday in the Qualification Grand Prix - even if unfortunately we have to ride the shortened Grand Prix task again - and then on Saturday to the "cream of the crop": the World Cup Freestyle ... I myself have never been to Madrid to ride and have to admit that I was completely wrong with my somewhat naive idea of "Spain = sun". There were even snowstorms on the way here and instead of T-shirts and shorts, hats and scarves are the order of the day. But the halls, where there is also a very large equestrian fair, are of course temperate, pleasantly temperate. I was relieved, not because of me, but because Mausi doesn't like it so much when it's lousy cold ...
